There are all kinds of things that can have an effect on your sleep; from the temperature and light levels in your room, to how comfortable you find your pillow or mattress. Those are the more obvious ones. But you might not have thought about a few; like how much screen time you had before bed, or this unusual factor – what colour your bedroom walls are.
A study from Sleepjunkie was dedicated to trying to figure out which wall colors lead to the best quality sleep. The survey asked 1,064 U.S. adults about their room setup, wall color, and how well they typically slept, with some interesting results.
According to their findings, the best wall colour for your sleep is purple. That was closely followed by blue, and then white. At the other end of the scale, just over half of those with a green room said they typically slept well, and barely more with beige walls agreed.
