With that in mind here is what you can expect to be closed, and some of what will remain open on Monday.
- Municipal, Regional, Provincial administrative offices will be closed.
- Library branches will be closed.
- Post Offices will be closed.
- Most LCBO locations will be closed.
- The Beer Store will have several locations available.
- Indoor recreation facilities will see many be open with adjusted schedules, though not all as some are closed.
- Many Museums will be open, possibly with adjusted hours
- Transit will be running, usually on a Sunday or Holiday schedule. Some Go will operate on a Saturday schedule.
- Niagara Transit has no regional or Fort Erie buses running
- Many grocery stores will be closed.
- Several big box stores will be closed.
- Most malls will be closed.
- Many other stores will be open, though not all.
- Farmers markets look to be closed across the regions.
- Waste collection will proceed as normal (except Hamilton which be delayed 1 day this week.)
- The Gage Park Tropical Greenhouse will be closed on Monday. The greenhouse will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Royal Botanical Gardens is open on Victoria Day between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. with the last admission being allowed at 7 p.m. The Art Gallery of Hamilton is also open on Monday.
Many outdoor recreation areas you can expect to be available as with movie theatres, and other entertaining locations.
