Brantford Labour Day Soap Box Derby – Change Of Location – Monday September 1, 2025

The location of this year’s Labour Day Soap Box Derby, hosted by the Brantford and District Labour Council, has changed.

Close to 40 competitors, will take part in the derby on Elgin Street between Rawdon and Stanley Streets, instead of the traditional spot on Icomm Drive at Brant Avenue and Colborne Street.

Organizers said a possibility of construction work on Icomm Drive prompted the change of location.

Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m. with races scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Sept. 1
