Rylee Stuart who is 13 from Australia said she was “surprised” when the Dorito company contacted her with a check for $20,000 to buy her puffy chip. She uploaded a video and photo of the unusual corn snack to social media and got a lot of attention when she asked the question should I eat it or save it? So she saved it. The entrepreneurial youngster put the weird crisp up for sale on eBay with a starting bid of $0.99 and it rose to $5,000 within two hours, Bids flooded in, rocketing up to $20,100, before eBay intervened, axed the auction. Well, in stepped Doritos, who were so impressed with Rylee’s business savvy and curiosity over their chip they matched the final bid and paid her $20,000 so they can examine it.. So what’s in your chip bag? Anything strange?……Ed
