About John Biggs
After my early years playing bass and singing in a touring rock group, I took the advice of our drummer’s Mom:
“You have a nice voice. You should be on the radio.”…and, here we are.
I’ve been a radio guy since November of 1983, starting about as far east in Canada as you can begin – St. John’s Newfoundland. I spent years in my hometown of Halifax as a morning host before moving to Ontario in 1998, with a concentration on Hamilton, London, and Brantford.
I love hockey, baseball, good movies, and way too much sugar. I also love to cook (and not just sweet stuff.)
I don’t know if I need to mention coffee… but yes… “First I drink the coffee. Then, I do the things.”

I am an avid traveller and have seen the world by planes, trains, automobiles and sailboats. In 1990 I cashed in my chips and followed summer around the world for a year. I began my radio career in Toronto in 1984. I enjoy playing drums, listening to a wide variety of music, writing, sailing, cooking and eating. When I am not working I laugh with and at my wife and kids who in turn laugh at me. Join me on weekdays from 10AM – 3PM.

Kathy is a graduate of the radio broadcasting program at Mohawk College, starting her career in advertising sales at Energy 108 and then moved into an on-air role at the station doing middays.
Kathy has worked as an on-air personality for stations like Energy 108 & Chum FM Toronto and Kool FM & The Beat the Kitchener.
She lives with her two amazing teenagers Ethan and Ella and dog Bear. Some of her favourite things: wine, cheese, cottage life, and music of course!
