Television viewers will get a taste of the musical “Come From Away” on Friday when a filmed version streams on Apple TV+.
The doors of the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York City were cracked open for several weeks in May to film the cast performing the hit show, which is the story of the Canadian town that sheltered air travellers after the 9-11 attacks.
“Come From Away” is set in the small Newfoundland town of Gander, which opened its arms and homes to some seven thousand airline passengers.
