Legion Poppy Campaign Gets Back on Track

The Royal Canadian Legion is hoping that with some pandemic restrictions being lifted in many parts of the country, its annual poppy campaign will get back to normal this month.

Leading up to Remembrance Day, the organization has set up over 34-thousand traditional poppy boxes nationwide where people can donate cash and get a poppy pin.

The organization is also featuring boxes that will accept payments from tap-enabled devices or cards.

This year’s campaign is also coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance in Canada.
