Bart is older than he looks, the same with Homer

The Simpsons” writer Al Jean shocked a lot of people by saying that if the characters on his animated comedy aged, the trouble making child character Bart would now be the age of 42 since he was born in 1980. Homer his beer drinking and donut eating dad was 39 when Bart was born which now makes him 81. But this is not the real world, so as of February 23rd Bart will turn 10 on his birthday, as he does every year.
