Your eyes are not deceiving you. Courtney Schlitt, with the Hamilton city’s horticulture department, stuffs foliage into the 14-foot tall Mickey Mantis the Praying Mantis, in the forecourt garden at city hall. The figure is covered in six varieties of alternanthera and Lysimachia Goldielocks and some moss. It’s getting a lot of attention. The figure should be standing guard until Oct. 1, depending on the weather……Ed
