If you don’t use a wheelchair, or have never been out with a wheelchair user, it’s likely you wouldn’t think about if a place is truly accessible or not. Meaning more than is there accessible parking and a ramp on to the sidewalk.

It’s things like is the ramp super steep, is there a lip at the door into the business, and a hundred other questions a physically fit person wouldn’t even consider.

It’s a truly eye-opening experience if you’ve never had to travel with someone who has accessibility issues to really understand how much harder it is to exist; just because they are in a wheelchair.
