Everywhere you turn these days, there’s an incredible amount of emphasis placed on self-care. The idea being that not much out there is taking care of you so you have to do it yourself. It can come in the form of face masks, bubble baths, and other products that claim to banish your stress and help you find ‘inner peace’.
Sometimes those products end up being useful, but often enough it’s just someone trying to sell you something. Plus, who has the money to throw at extras these days when the essentials are so expensive? That could just end up adding to your stress.
You can’t ignore your needs, however, so you need to know the free, or near enough ways to practice self-care. And they’re often easy.
