I'm Stacey Englehart. Well, it is the beginning of the month, a full moon. Today's full moon is called the Flower Moon, which seems self-explanatory. It's the first of two this month, May 31st. It's a rare blue moon. Grand River Transit services continue uninterrupted today. A tentative agreement was reached between the Union and the region of Waterloo before the deadline. The two sides have been talking all week. A ratification vote happened Sunday. Border officers at Pearson seized 8 kilos of methamphetamine hidden inside protein bars. According to reports, the drugs were discovered April 18th during a search of a traveler heading to Japan. And activists worldwide kicking off May Day rallies today, demanding peace, higher wages, and better working conditions. The day is a public holiday in many countries, and demonstrations are expected in major cities. Light 92 sports. Baseball yesterday, the Blue Jays lost to Minnesota 7-1. That weekend Rd. series continues at 8 o'clock tonight. NHL playoffs round one, Edmonton lost to Anaheim 5-2. They have been eliminated and will not see a Stanley Cup final for the first time in three years. Elsewhere, Minnesota beat Dallas, eliminating the Stars. Tonight, Montreal hoping to eliminate Tampa Bay. Game time is at 7. Montreal leads 3-2. Also tonight, Buffalo Buffalo is in Boston, Vegas at Utah. Both Buffalo and Vegas lead 3-2. OHL playoffs last night. It was close, but Branford lost to Bury 4-3 in overtime. They head to Bury tomorrow at 7 with a 3-2 series lead. Tonight, the Rangers are back at the odd, hoping to eliminate Windsor. Kitchener has a 3-1 series lead heading into tonight's game at 7. NBA playoffs, the Raptors back home for game 6 at 7.30, trailing the series 3-2 and national lacrosse playoffs. The semi-final best of three series gets underway this weekend.
