According to the SIU, there was an interaction between the man and police. The man retreated from police fell to the ground a short time later. 17-year-old driver from Caledonia has died after a two-car collision over the weekend in Haldeman. Police said the head-on crash involved 2 passenger vehicles on Highway 6 near 5th Line Saturday at about 5. Anybody who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police. A powerful earthquake early this morning in the Philippines has claimed more lives. Authorities say the offshore 7.8 quake killed at least 32 people. There were hundreds of injuries as well as a meter high tsunami along many coastlines. And researchers at Memorial University have stumbled upon what they're calling zombie tissue. Scientists apparently found pieces of removed sea cucumber flesh can survive for years after being severed from the animal's body. Now the tissue continues taking in nutrients and fighting bacteria, but doesn't grow into a new organism.
