I'll be careful on the drive this morning. Heavy rain across the GTHA causing problems on most major highways. Numerous collisions and lots of flooding has been reported. The funeral for an OPP constable killed on the job last week in Northern Ontario is being held today in Mississauga. Charoon Bali was fatally struck as police tried to stop a suspect. The funeral service is not open to the public but will be live streamed. Ontario real estate brokerages will now be required to submit annual filings to the province's industry regulator. The move is in response to the iPro Realty scandal. Regulators say about 8 million from trust accounts went to pay for operating expenses and investors when it should only have been used for down payments and realtor commissions. The filings will start October 1st. Former Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie is thinking about becoming the new Mississauga mayor again. Apparently, she told reporters she's weighing her options amid speculation. Crombie was mayor for 10 years after Hazel McCallion stepped down, and she left to lead the Liberal Party, but has since left that job as well. And the agency that oversees safety at a BC amusement park said it's found electrical non-compliance at the water park where 12 children suffered electrical burns. According to the RCMP, the children were wading underneath a water slide when they touched a railing and suffered an electrical shock. Technical Safety BC said the water park will stay closed until the problems are fixed. Light 92 sports, baseball yesterday, the Blue Jays blank Boston 3-0. That Rd. series continues with one more game this afternoon. It's at 1.30. World Cup soccer yesterday in Toronto gonna beat Panama 1-0. Also yesterday, Portugal and Congo tied at 1. Colombia beat Uzbekistan. It was England over Croatia. Today, Canada plays Qatar at 6 in Vancouver. Other games include Czechia versus South Africa at noon. Switzerland plays Bosnia-Herzegovina at 3, and it's Mexico and South Korea tonight at 9. The Calder Cup final could be decided tonight. Toronto hosts Chicago at 7 and leads the best of 7 series 3-0.
