Hamilton is the winner or loser, depending on how you look at it. They've earned the coveted worst Rd. in Ontario, according to the CAA. Barton Street East took top spot on the 2026 list, which invites members of the public to vote on the worst roads in their communities. Mississauga's here Ontario Street was ranked the second worst Rd. in all of Ontario. it took a while, but it looks like Canada's last remaining captive whales will be moved. The federal government issued the first batch of permits to move 34 whales from marineland to aquariums in the United States and Spain. Waterloo police investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a truck happened at 8 yesterday morning. A 23-year-old Waterloo woman died in hospital. A 54-year-old driver is expected to be charged. An 86-year-old cyclist is in hospital after Waterloo police alleged they were struck by a vehicle in Kitchener yesterday at about 3 in the afternoon. That driver is also facing charges. And you're going to notice military jets flying by starting today. NORAD has confirmed planned aerospace defense activities to support FIFA World Cup events. You'll also notice an additional temporary air surveillance radar that's installed by the Canadian Armed Forces Training Area near Grimsby. It's only supposed to be used for a month starting Monday, and the government says it's safe operating strictly within Canada's federal radio frequency exposure standards. Light 92 sports.
