A gunman opened fire Monday at the Pyramids north of Mexico City. leaving one Canadian tourist dead, another injured among at least 13 people that were hurt. The gunman opened fire, apparently from the top of one of the historic pyramids before he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Hamilton police say three people have been arrested in an investigation involving the seizure of illegal drugs and weapons. and the discovery of an illegal dog breeding operation. After a search warrant at a business on King Street, police said they seized drugs, including cocaine and meth, along with eight puppies and two adult dogs. They also found a couple of drug labs. The 3 accused are facing multiple charges. Federal government said the province and all others are on track to allow consumers to buy alcohol directly from producers by next month. Spokesperson for the Privy Council office said provinces and territories are continuing to work towards the May deadline.
