Ontario Provincial Police say they have arrested a man for killing his mother in Simcoe.
Police say officers were called to a home on October 5th, where they found a 71-year-old woman dead.
Officers arrested her 45-year-old son on Friday.
Police also say a 49-year-old man is also missing in the case, and police are concerned for his well-being.
They describe the missing person as white, five-foot-10-inches, having dirty blond hair normally worn in a ponytail and a long beard. 
Israel and Hamas have taken a significant step in the first phase of the U-S-brokered ceasefire agreement for the Gaza war by releasing hostages and prisoners.
However, unresolved issues like Hamas disarmament and Gaza governance highlight just how fragile the deal is. 
Yesterday, Israelis celebrated the return of the last 20 living hostages, while Palestinians welcomed freed prisoners.
Prime Minister Mark Carney was in Egypt where he joined other world leaders for the signing the peace plan.
