They face 175 charges in a retail theft so big it spanned southern Ontario, Quebec and BC. Police began investigating in August after multiple retail thefts at Shoppers Drug Marts across Hamilton. Police say the people behind those thefts were tied to multiple large-scale thefts so big items were being trafficked at a commercial liquidation warehouse in Peel Region. And a pony that was on the lam over the weekend just outside of London has been captured and given a new home. Animal control were called on Sunday. The animal was finally corralled and held as a stray, but the family never came forward. So now the pony has a new home and a new name because Peanut was adopted. Animal control is reminding residents ponies and horses are only allowed on property zoned for agricultural purposes. Sports, NBA last night. The Raptors beat Milwaukee 111-105. They host Boston at 7 tomorrow. They travel to Brooklyn Sunday at 6. NFL last night. Seattle beat the LA Rams 38-37 in overtime. NHL last night. The Leafs were blanked by Washington.
