Hanukkah celebrations will continue as planned in the wake of a deadly mass shooting in Australia. That's according to rabbis from a couple of synagogues in the GTA. At least 15 people were killed, 38 injured at an event just outside of Sydney when two gunmen opened fire. Authorities revealed a father and son were allegedly behind the attacks. Grand opening for a campus of care celebrated on Friday with dignitaries and seniors gathering at the newly constructed Brant Landing Retirement Living. According to the expositor, the $140 million facility features 160 long-term care beds in Oakwood Commons, while Brant's Landing Retirement Living is entirely new with 147 suites. Ontario's police watchdog investigating after a 26-year-old was shot and killed by officers in Welland. Niagara police were called Saturday to help with the arrest of a man. SIU said the man shot at police and officers returned fire. And Mars Canada has installed holiday window displays at Hudson's Bay's flagship store in Toronto after they closed their doors earlier this year. The display called Wonders of Mars features animatronic elves depicting scenes from a day in the life at the confectionery company.
