 A Canadian coalition is sending another container of aid to Cuba as the island faces severe fuel and food shortages. The Canadian network on Cuba says the shipment, their 19th since 2020, will include medical supplies, canned food, generators and mattresses. Ottawa is now advising Canadians to avoid non-essential travel as rolling blackouts worsen and airlines suspend services. Advocates say families in Cuba are struggling daily just to find food and keep the lights on.

 A reminder for Wear Red Day. Heart disease is still the number one killer of women worldwide and often goes under-recognized. Health experts say women face unique risks from pregnancy complications to menopause. And symptoms can look different too, like jaw pain, fatigue or nausea instead of classic chest pain. They're urging women to learn the signs, get screened and take heart health seriously.

Ontario's boosting college and university funding by more than $6 billion over four years and ending the seven-year tuition freeze. Schools can raise fees up to 2% per year. Students say that's a tough hit. Colleges and universities call the funding a much-needed lifeline.

Light 92 sports. Canada's men's hockey team looks to continue its early dominance, while the men's and women's curling teams try to build their winning starts on day seven of the Milan-Cortina Olympics. The men's hockey team faces Switzerland at the second game of Group A action today. Team Canada opened the tournament with a 5-0 win over Czechia. Macklin Celebrini, Mark Stone, Beau Horvat, Nathan MacKinnon, and Nick Suzuki scored. Connor McDavid had three assists. Jordan Binnington made 26 saves for the shutout.

Jose Berrios says he made a bad decision leaving the Blue Jays at the end of last year. He stepped away during the playoff run to rehab at home and be with his family and now says he wishes he'd stayed with the team. Berrios is healthy again. He knows he'll have to earn a spot in the rotation this spring.
