Large portion of the province under weather alerts. First off, Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for this morning. Be careful driving, it's quite foggy. And we're also under a freezing rain warning. Brantford Waterloo Region Hamilton affected several hours of freezing rain with ice buildup on top of a few centimeters of snow for some areas. Now keep in mind Waterloo Region under an orange freezing rain warning, so it's going to be a bit worse through there. Now it's set to begin overnight tonight or early tomorrow morning, tapering off by tomorrow evening. Some areas in the GTA under a winter storm watch, they could get upwards of 15 centimeters of snow. Plan ahead if you're driving tomorrow. The roads could be a mess. Post-secondary students in the province say the government's decision to reduce financial assistance grants while lifting a tuition freeze will leave students with more debt. The government's lifting the freeze to allow colleges and universities to raise fees 2% per year for the next three. America's famed Reverend Jesse Jackson has died. He was a protege of Martin Luther King and became a civil rights leader for decades after King was assassinated in 1968. The two-time presidential candidate died peacefully today at the age of 84. People celebrating the Lunar New Year with prayers, fireworks, and St. festivals for the Year of the Horse.
